"Somebody (just not me, I really don't have the time, you understand of course) should help you." That's when he comes, Somebody, the greatest hero of all. He is mightier than God, faster than Santa Clause and more handsome than Prince Charming.
He had been born a long time ago in a small town somewhere on the planet earth. His parents had racked their brains to find a fitting name for their child, but all names they knew were already taken by someone else in the village. They didn't think much of names like "Junior", because that would always make their son appear smaller than they wanted him to be.
"I want my son to be a somebody rather than a nobody," his mother had said after his birth.
Her husband had nodded. "Yes, why not? We can name him Somebody. That sure carries the right message."
Thus it came to pass that a boy grew up whose name was Somebody. And although normally no name is unique, Somebody was and still is the only one with his name.

“Mom, what does the newsguy mean when he says hero?” I yelled from my place in the living room.  “Does that mean that there’s another one of those guys with capes flyin’ around?”
My sister laughed.  “Sure, Max.  There are now five Spidermen in New York and twenty-five Batmen in Gotham.”
“Really?” I gasped, “Then we have a better chance of findin’ them!”
“Sure.  I think one of the Batmen is out in the barn.  Why don’t you go look for him?  Oh, wait a minute, you’re too scared.”
“Isabella Margaret Syn, stop pesterin’ your brother,” Mom screamed from the kitchen.
“Whatever.”  Izzy rolled her eyes.  “Bet cha won’t go and find that Batman out in the barn though.”
“I will,” I said.  “I’ll even br HeroShe wakes up in the morning. After a while she gets out of bed wondering why she even bothers to anymore. She pulls
on her clothes, the ones she's picked at random from on of the piles on the floor. She doesn't fix her bed, or her
hair, or even look in the mirror. She knows what she will find there. And she hates it.But it doesn't matter- not
anymore.
The ride to school is horrible as always. The insults are barly masked by the smiles and the music in her ears. The
lyrics nolonger comfort her or give her hope or strength. But it doesn't matter- not anymore.
She sits alone beside the windows in class. No one wants to talk to her. She stares out the window at the world
going by. The world she'll never touch, she's too small, too worthless. The teacher stopped trying to get her to
pay attention weeks ago. She really should try to learn something but there's really no point. Her notebook is not
filled with notes as it should but poems from her heart, her pain. A cry for help unnoticed. But
